The file size doesn’t matter as long as you have enough bandwidth to upload it.
The higher the original video’s resolution (8K, 4K, 1080p, 720p, etc…), the better the video will be displayed on the platform.
It is not possible to improve the original video’s quality. Example: If you upload a 720p video, its highest quality will be 720p on the platform. It’s not possible to turn it into a 1080p or 4K video.
Clients can define which pieces of content will be free and which will be paid. The platform allows you to have a premium-priced collection as part of a free channel but not a free collection inside a paid channel.
It is possible to stream to YT and FH simultaneously, but it is NOT possible to stream from YT to FH. In other words, it sends the signal simultaneously to the 2 platforms from where it is being generated. Another option is to use a re-stream service, sending it first to FH and then resending it to YT, but in a very manual way.
It is possible to display text in the video (overlay or PiP)
Yes, every video has an embed code, which you can copy and paste to your website and any other supported place.
Yes. With FanHero you are allowed to create your playlist, which will appear in the sequence you order.
It’s up to you. The only limit you have is a maximum size of 5GB.
You can replace an existing video at your convenience while keeping all the analytics from this video.

Live Streaming Profiles and Bitrates
For live streaming, the following profiles and bitrates are available:
- 288p – 400kbps
- 432p – 1200kbps
- 540p – 2000kbps
- 720p – 3500kbps
- 1080p – 6500kbps
The resolution of the video stream determines the profile used and the bitrate required for smooth streaming. The 288p profile is typically used for lower-quality video streams, such as in situations with limited bandwidth. The 1080p profile is used for high-quality streams with high-resolution content.
It’s important to note that the bitrates listed above are only general guidelines, and the actual bitrate required for live streaming can vary depending on the complexity of the content, frame rate, and other factors. However, it’s recommended to use the suggested bitrates as a starting point.
On-Demand Profiles and Bitrates
For on-demand video content, the following profiles and bitrates are available:
- 240p – 300kbps
- 360p – 600kbps
- 432p – 900kbps
- 720p – 2500kbps
- 1080p – 5000kbps
The resolution of the video determines the profile used and the bitrate required for smooth playback. The 240p profile is typically used for lower-quality video content, while the 1080p profile is used for high-quality, high-resolution content.
As with live streaming, the actual bitrate required for on-demand video content can vary depending on the complexity of the content, frame rate, and other factors. However, the suggested bitrates listed above can be used as a starting point.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the available profiles and bitrates for live streaming and on-demand video content on the video technology cloud provide a range of options for content providers to optimize the quality of their video content. The profiles’ bitrates can very up to 25%. Choosing the right profile and bitrate depends on the resolution and complexity of the content, as well as the available bandwidth and platform used for streaming. By taking advantage of these options, content providers can deliver high-quality video content to their audiences while optimizing their bandwidth and storage resources.

Some aspects of the FanHero Platform are highly customizable such as the look and feel, branding, and navigation. FanHero also has an API available to our clients; however, we developed FanHero to be as close to a turnkey solution as possible, and for that reason, platform customization currently has some limitations. Please contact us to share the scope of your project so we can help you.
FanHero uses three main classification types for the purposes of organizing content:
1. Channels
2. Infinite Collections or Categories
3. TagsÂ
Every FanHero service or product is sold in US dollars.
The monthly fees are charged based on the number of Monthly Registered Users and Monthly Subscribers on the platform.
A Registered User is an End User who registers on the platform in order to watch free or exclusive content at least one time within the monthly calendar period.
A Subscriber is an End User who signs up for paid content whether is a pay-per-view or VOD in order to watch premium content at least one time within the monthly calendar period.
The average infrastructure costs will always depend on the platform usage considering GB of consumption from data transfer, storage, and the number of active digital channels. After gathering all the mentioned usage data, you will come up with a ballpark of the platform’s monthly maintenance cost.
A Monthly Active User (MAU) is an End User that accesses the platform at least one time within the monthly calendar period. Monthly Active Users consume, on average, between 1 GB and 2 GB per month, most tend to stay within 1 GB per month. However, there are many factors that can impact data consumption and it severely varies on a client-to-client basis. Some of the key factors that impact data consumption and bandwidth costs include video duration, video quality, user’s internet connection and speed, number and adherence of users throughout the live and pre-recorded content.
Calculation sample:
2 Videos Per Week – 20 Minutes each
2 (number of videos) x 4 (number of weeks) x 20 minutes = 160 minutes
1 Livestream Per Week – 20 Minutes
1 (Livestream) x 4 (number of weeks) x 20 minutes = 80 minutes
Total video & livestream minutes watched = 240 minutes = 4 hours
1,000 Monthly Active Users
20% of users will consume 100% of the content
1,000 MAU’s x 0.20 (20% consumption rate) x 4 hours = 800 Hours of Video Watched.
800 hours x 1.03 GB/hour = 824 GB.*
824 GB/1000 Monthly Active Users = 0.824 GB/MAU/Month
*1.03 GB/hour accounts for standard definitionÂ
Permission Levels
Is it possible to have multiple influencers/users uploading content to the same channel?
Yes, the platform allows you to have different types of users registered on the system. Depending on the permission level that you grant to some specific users they can upload content to the same channel on a regular basis.
Broadcasting Feature
Is it possible to start broadcasting a pre-recorded video on FanHero?
Yes, FanHero allows clients to schedule live streaming, and instead of capturing the images directly from a camera, the client can choose to broadcast a video from the VOD gallery.
Live Interaction Features
How can my users interact and engage in real-time with me and my team during a live stream session?
FanHero offers a series of features that allows you to connect and interact in real-time with your customers or visitors. You can consistently increase engagement and interactivity levels by using FanHero’s live chat, live polls, push notifications, and news feed during a live session.
How can I monetize with FanHero?
FanHero is incredibly adaptable to different business models. The most common way to monetize is using the B2C (Business to Consumer) model, which consists of distributing and selling content directly to end users. The client can monetize by creating their own products, plans, or combo packages by choosing to monetize with pay-per-view, monthly subscriptions, memberships, one-time purchases, or even collect donations.
Clients can also choose to use the marketplace business model, which consists of a B2B sales structure. FanHero allows clients to create, configure and customize channels as they dedicate those channels to their business partners (B2B customers). After the channels are ready, B2B customers can have full autonomy on their new channels, being able to upload, edit and monetize their own content on a regular basis. Revenue share can also be applied in this case so our clients can profit on their customer’s monetization.

When a user attempts to access a geofenced channel from an unauthorized location, the platform displays a message informing the user about the restriction.
Select "Include" (whitelist) and then the countries that will have access to the Channel or "Exclude" (blacklist) and then the countries that will not have access to the Channel.

Channel Geofence
Overview
This section refers to the ability for administrators to define their channel's geofence settings.
Geofence settings enable access control to a channel based on the user's location. It can determine whether the channel is accessible to users within or outside the defined geofenced area. This allows administrators to restrict content availability based on regional licensing agreements or content distribution rights.
Administrators can define specific geographical boundaries or restrictions for accessing and viewing the Channel, by defining specific countries. Geofence settings rely on geolocation technology to determine a user's location, which utilizes IP addresses to identify the user's geographical position and compare it against the defined geofenced areas. When a user attempts to access a geofenced channel from an unauthorized location, the platform displays a message informing the user about the restriction.
Select "Include" (whitelist) and then the countries that will have access to the Channel or "Exclude" (blacklist) and then the countries that will not have access to the Channel.
